One of these myths states that ceramic coatings can make your car completely scratch-proof. The reality is that they offer a great layer of protection, but there can still be some deep or heavy scratches, which can have a negative impact on your vehicle.
And, although the PPF Denver coatings very durable, these coatings are not permanent. In fact, their longevity is influenced by several different factors, such as the quality of the coating, local climate, etc. At any rate, they usually last for a few years.
Ceramic coatings are also very practical because they can prevent contaminants from adhering to the surface, but regular washing is still necessary to maintain the coating’s effectiveness and the overall appearance of the vehicle.
Another common myth is that you need to apply multiple layers of ceramic coatings, in order to get improved protection. But the fact is most of these ceramic coatings already have a number of layers, in order to perform their very best. Also, PPF is not only for high-end or luxury cars.
